Hi, I’m Liam Newton, a high school student at St. Margaret’s Episcopal School.
Technology has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Every holiday season, my grandparents would arrive with a list of tech questions—everything from why their messages weren’t showing up to how to organize their photos. Helping them became a family tradition, and over the years, I began to see how widespread the struggle with everyday technology is for many older adults. That experience sparked a passion in me: to make technology more accessible for seniors. It’s what inspired me to create Silver Tech.
At Silver Tech, our mission is to empower older adults by making technology simple, approachable, and accessible. We aim to bridge the generational tech gap with patience, clarity, and respect, helping seniors stay connected, informed, and independent in the digital age.
Currently, we offer weekly classes on Tuesday and Thursday at the Laguna Woods Village
